A Typical Day Fishing with Chappy
Your charter begins after I book your trip. Behind the scenes, I am planning on how I am catching your bait and researching the tides to put you in position to catch the most fish.
Most of my days start before sun up, ensuring we have the freshest and liveliest baits. This enables you to spend more time fishing and not watching me throw a cast net.
All inshore fishing trips can be customized to 4, 6, or 8 hours depending on weather and tides. Once we push off from the dock, anglers can expect that I will have the best bait (live shrimp, finger mullet, menhaden, live blue crab etc.)
My primary style of fishing involves these live baits paired with small, yet powerful spinning reels and super strong and flexible rods that let the angler really feel "the pull".
Typically, we are targeting redfish (spot tail bass or red rum), black drum, seatrout, Spanish mackerel, sharks, and flounder. All of these species can be caught within the sight of land and are usually no more than a 20-minute boat ride to the fishing grounds.
Whether you are an experienced fisherman or learning for the first time, my methods are proven to put you in the best possible high-percentage area to "Get Bent".
